Counseling Center

Welcome to Tenino High School's Counseling Center! Our goal is to help students become college and career ready. Our counselor, Ms. Michael Van Buskirk, assists students with not only their academic needs, but provides social/emotional support to help them be successful in high school and beyond.

If you need to reach Ms. Van Buskirk, don't hesitate to call at 264.3535 or e-mail her. Students may "drop-in" to see Ms. Van Buskirk before or after school, between classes and during lunch. Students may also sign up for an appointment.

New students can enroll using our online enrollment.

For transcripts, please contact the registrar, Mrs. Stiles, at 264.3546 or via e-mail.

For your convenience, you will find high school and college education requirements listed below.

Tenino High School hosts a College and Career Fair in late October and students attend the College Planning Day hosted by the Washington Council in late March. Representatives visit our campus on a regular basis. Please contact the counseling center about specific times and dates.

Plan for Career

At Tenino High School, we use a great college and career searching program called "Career Cruising." We encourage students to use it to help them find a career they're interested in, learn about it, and find where they can earn a degree in that field anywhere in the US. It's very user friendly—just click the icon below to begin using the program.
